Crypto Buzz | Gal Gadot shoots a Bitcoin movie… with AI-created sets
Bitcoin is heading to the big screen in a decidedly unusual form: Hollywood, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence in the same project.
Bitcoin meets Hollywood
Gal Gadot is among the stars of “Bitcoin,” the new thriller directed by Doug Liman. The cast also includes Casey Affleck, Pete Davidson, and Isla Fisher. What makes the production unusual is that, for a significant portion of filming, the actors performed in very minimal environments while sets and lighting were completed with artificial-intelligence tools.
A six-month contract to protect her image
The most interesting part concerns the use of AI. Gadot said her lawyers spent about six months working on the contract to ensure artificial intelligence could not alter or replace her performance. According to the actress, AI is being used for scenery and lighting—not to “perform” in place of the actors.
Why this is a true Crypto Buzz story
For once, this is not about charts, regulation, or prices. It is interesting to see Bitcoin moving further into pop culture: movies, celebrities, and new technologies are turning a topic that began in a computing niche into something that now appears in major Hollywood productions.
